Cincinnati Magazine has an excellent opportunity for a social media junkie with a passion for creative storytelling and promotion.
This role is an ambassador of our magazine brand, responsible for managing Cincinnati Magazine social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok) and crafting engaging posts for editorial, sponsored, and promotional content. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing post schedules; interacting with our audience and stakeholders; assisting with building and executing promotional campaigns for CM events and sponsors; assisting with video production for social media; tracking metrics to assist Digital Editor with setting growth targets; staying ahead of social media trends; attending and documenting CM events on social media, including live sharing/posting; and other tasks at the direction of the Digital Editor and Editor-in-Chief.
The ideal candidate is an organized, strong writer with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with social marketing tools like HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics are required. Video editing skills are preferred. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, English, or another relevant communications specialty is required, with a minimum of one year’s experience in social media management for a business entity preferred.
