Leah and Chad chose to be married on Veteran’s Day, 11.11.11, in a patriotic affair starting with a ceremony at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. The date was selected to honor Chad’s 9 years in the United States Air Force.
Leah’s beautiful gown, featuring a beaded bodice and perfectly-tiered bustling was Maggie Sottero from Bridal & Formal. It’s one of those dresses that makes you realize she could not have been married in anything else; simply stunning. Leah also included a few pops of red, in line with the patriotic palette, in her classically simple bouquet by Sweet Pea Flowers and her adorable shoes (matching those of her bridesmaids).
The couple met at WEBN’s Labor Day Fireworks and when Chad proposed to Leah, their friends and family set off a fireworks display, commemorating the night they met. The reception, held at Glendale Lyceum, included an elegant cake by Sandra Maffey. As the couple exited that evening they had a grand send-off of sparklers, continuing the couple’s sparkling tradition.
