Man Of The Match—Bengals vs. Browns

61

Each week I’ll be picking my “Man Of The Match.” Please let me know how brilliantly intuitive and incicisve I am. Or, you know, that I’m a complete moron. Whichever…

Man of the Match: I thought a lot about this; Chris Crocker put in some killer hits. Reggie Nelson got everywhere. Gradkowski threw the game-changing pass. But it has to go to our most-overlooked rookie—Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden. An offense that could never adapt to anything last year was thrown into a corner with the injury to starting quarterback Andy Dalton. Gruden worked his players, worked his plays, took his chances, and got his reward. So Carson Palmer doesn’t want to be here? Fine. Andy Dalton, Bruce Gradkowski, whomsoever it is – The King is dead. Long live the King!
