How far would you go to visit your grandmother? Or avoid your mom? Or escape, well, whatever demons are pursing you? The answer at Cincinnati Playhouse is 4000 Miles, Amy Herzog’s serio-comedy about Leo, who bikes across the country and shows up on the doorstep of his aged, left-wing granny. The young members of the cast bring energy and appeal to the tale. As nonagenarian Vera, the inestimable Rosemary Prinz is well worth the ride. Thru March 9.
