After dozens of Cincinnati summers, Macy’s Music Festival is still going strong, attracting showstoppers like Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston over its 52 years.
This weekend, look for Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Keyshia Cole, and more, plus this year’s wild card: Robin Thicke, whose newest album Paula—the follow-up to 2013’s Blurred Lines and Thicke’s attempt to win back wife Paula Patton—sold, literally, 530 copies its first week in the UK. Ouch.
And because the world is an unfair place, you won’t see this goddess again. But you will see Chaka Khan, the woman who probably inspired this. Right? I’m right.
