Thanks to its recent purchase by promoter PromoWest and the added cachet of top-tier artists like the Black Keys and Snoop Dogg, Bunbury Music Festival (June 5–7) is in the midst of a progression from hipster upstart to rocket-fueled indie-summer hootenanny. We assessed the transition by plotting a few of this year’s acts on the indie/mainstream axis.
