Yep, the rumors are true. It is that time of year again: Cincinnati Magazine’s mega-popular Baby and Beyond Expo is this weekend (September 14 & 15). From face painting, a mocktail lounge, and designer diaper bags (with price of VIP admission), this year’s event will be one you do not want to miss. Here are our top 10 reasons you need to go to the Baby and Beyond Expo this year.

1.  Once Upon a Child Photo Booth Fun

Not only can you strike a silly pose with your kids at this booth, but you can also peruse children’s clothing and chat with Once Upon a Child’s fashion experts. You simply cannot miss this display in the main exhibit hall Saturday and Sunday during the show.

2.  Face Painting

Let your little one become a lion or a ladybug for the day by visiting the face-painting booth (Pediatric Associates of Fairfield booth, 706). Kids can get creative and design their own look, or choose from countless templates. Either way, a fresh face will help you and your children conquer this year’s Baby and Beyond Expo with a little extra magic.

3.  Famous Characters

Speaking of a little extra magic, make sure to keep an eye out for your children’s favorite Disney princess as they make their way around the expo floor on Saturday and Sunday. After meeting them, do not forget to visit booth 157 to book your very own princess party!

4.  Pottery Barn Mocktail Lounge

There is nothing better than perusing new décor and furniture finds for your home and nursery while sipping on refreshing drinks. You can experience both at the Pottery Barn Mocktail Lounge. While your kids have fun playing with interactive toys from Pottery Barn Kids, you can drink a mocktail, kick your feet up, and take a much-needed break before cruising the rest of the expo.

5.  DJ Natalie Jones

Everyone loves Natalie Jones on the local radio station Q102, but this weekend you will be able to catch her live and in-person at the expo hosting your favorite events. Natalie brings a fresh and hilarious perspective to childhood in the Queen City as a born-and-raised Cincinnatian, so be sure to swing by the Q102 booth and the demo stage for more info.

6.  Pampers Comfort Corner & Pumps4Moms Breast Feeding Boutique

We all know that Pampers is the one-stop shop for diapers, but at the Baby and Beyond expo, you will also be able to feed and change your child at their booth in a private, stress-free space. Visit their booth and you can also help yourself to free Pampers diapers and wipes, sponsored by Pumps4Moms and Pampers.

7.  Premier Health

We all wish that it was simpler to ask health experts questions—at Baby and Beyond, it is. All you have to do is head over to Premier Health’s booth, 707, and talk to local OB/GYN and pediatric physicians about your babies’ health and growing your family. You will leave the expo feeling better, knowing your baby is healthy and your family’s future is bright.

8.  Greater Cincinnati Auto Dealers Association (GCADA)

We all want to keep your children as safe as possible, and GCADA will be at the Baby and Beyond expo to help you achieve that goal. They will be doing demonstrations on how to safely secure your baby in the car, and will even give your car a thorough safety check while you enjoy the expo.

9.  VIP Diaper Bags

What is better than VIP admission? A free TWELVElittle luxury diaper bag along with the price of a VIP ticket. You will find this bag fully stocked with Pampers baby wipes, swaddlers, diapers, a sippy cup, a pacifier, and so much more! Walk in a VIP; walk out with a new diaper bag to keep your bouncing babe attended to for years to come.

10.  Demos

One of the best parts of the Baby and Beyond expo is the demos, which detail everything from Home-Healthy Baby Food to The Benefits of Water Birth. These workshops occur from every hour on the hour on Saturday (11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m.), and they are cannot-miss-events for new and old parents alike. Stop by the Q102 demo stage to see these presentations!
