The CORV local food team will release their 7th annual Central Ohio River Valley local food guide on Wednesday, April 16 in the Earth Day edition of CityBeat magazine. CORV is a grassroots effort to connect the local community to farmers’ markets, restaurants, and wineries that encourage the mission of slow and local food. In addition to the listings, this year’s guide will revive the artisan/cottage producers’ section and spotlight urban entrepreneurs engaged in vertical farming, a unique farm-to-table ministry, hops farming, and the planned Findlay Market incubator kitchen. The updated, mobile-friendly website will debut on the same day as the print issue with a locator feature. Finding the nearest farmers’ market or CSA (community supported agriculture provider) has never been so simple.
