When the Masters Tournament was rescheduled to fall on their wedding weekend, Nick Paxson and Elizabeth Bayer knew it was fate—after all, they first met thanks to Nick’s college golf team. An intimate celebration on November 14, 2020, in the heart of downtown made Nick’s and Elizabeth’s day even sweeter.

The couple’s Masters-themed reception was just the icing on the cake. They sprinkled charming golf-related touches throughout the venue, and Elizabeth’s father even surprised Nick with a “Masters green” jacket during his toast.

When Nick and Elizabeth exchanged letters and presents before the ceremony, the bride and groom realized they’d serendipitously gifted one another sunglasses, which came in handy when they jetted off to a honeymoon on the beach.

The happy couple currently resides in Hyde Park. The groom is a financial planner, and the bride works as an operations coordinator.
