Lauren Buckreus and Patrick Huster met at the All Saints Festival through mutual friends and pretended to be dating to avoid an old flame and sparks flew. Five years later, Patrick proposed in front of the Statue of Liberty. On October 23, 2017, the couple exchanged vows on an Aruba beach.
What’s more perfect than a beachside, flamingo-themed wedding? The couple had live flamingos at their celebration to bring their theme to life, and completed their wedding theme with flamingo ties from Tie Bar. DJ Tino also provided all the right tunes for a memorable night of barefoot dancing in the sand.
The bride is a CPA, while the groom works in finance. The newlyweds currently live in Hyde Park.
