Former Coffee Shop Coworkers Reconnect and Wed After Drifting Apart

Despite drifting apart after meeting while working together at Madeira’s Coffee Please, Facebook brought Courtney Caudill and Wayne Memmott back together. When Courtney moved back from college, they had their official first date, and as they say, the rest is history.

The couple, who married at The Center downtown on November 10, 2018, was delighted to have their friends and family help with their big day, saying it felt more personal. Floral arrangements were made by the groom’s aunts; a friend designed their invitations; and another friend’s band played at the reception.

The bride is a digital marketing specialist at Fifth Third Bank, and the groom works as a field sales representative at Taft’s Ale House. The happy couple currently lives in Northside.
