Welcome to one of Cincinnati’s most jam-packed weekends during one of Cincinnati’s biggest heatwaves! From Pride to Juneteenth to everything in between, you’ll be able to find something to keep you buys. Just remember to stay hydrated!


Opening Night U-Pick Lavender & Goat Cuddles

Head to Sunshine Acres Farm to take part in the first harvest of lavender season. The field of gorgeous flowers will be yours to pick and bundle for $10 a bunch. There will be plenty of picturesque spots for photoshoots and picnics as well. While you’re at the farm, pet some of the animals and cuddle adorable goats from Goat Country. Tickets are $15 per person and include parking, admission, unlimited goat cuddles, and a $10 store credit. Cincinnati Magazine Pride Party

Join us, your favorite magazine of all time, at Court Street Plaza for the ultimate summer block party. Admission is $20 and includes a swag bag, unlimited free mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, unlimited free treats, drag performances, a local vendor marketplace, and interactive fun and games. Proceeds from alcoholic beverage sales benefit Queen City Charities. Friday, June 21, 5-8 p.m., Court Street Plaza, downtown

Anime Ohio

Celebrate all things anime at the massive three-day convention in Sharonville. You can go to workshops and panels, browse the nearly 200 exhibitors and vendors, stop for a bite at the maid café, take part in a video game tournament, and meet some of your favorite cosplayers and voice actors. Friday tickets are $20, Saturday tickets are $30, Sunday tickets are $25, and weekend passes are $50. If you want to see a specific guest, check their available days and photo-op prices. Cincinnati Pride

It’s nearly a full day of Pride activity. The Cincinnati Pride Parade will take off at 11 a.m. from 7th and Plum where it will make its way down Vine, past Fountain Square, and end at the Pride Festival in Sawyer Point. Entertainers, activist groups, informational booths, vendors, and food booths will fill Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove all day. You can catch live music at the Tunnel Stage and drag performers on the main stage. The headlining Festival acts are Canada’s Drag Race Season One winner Priyanka and indie pop band, The Aces. Saturday, June 22, parade takes off at 11 a.m., festival 12-9 p.m., Sawyer Point, 705 E. Pete Rose Way, The Banks

Fibonacci Summer Solstice Party

It’s the sixth annual celebration of the summer solstice at Fibonacci Brewing. Grab a craft brew and head for the garden from noon until 3 p.m. for a mini-market of vendors, artisans, and herbalists. You’ll also get to make your own flower crown and participate in a free yoga session. When night starts to fall, there will be live music on the outdoor stage, food from Mahope, and tarot readings. Saturday, June 22, 12-11 p.m., Fibonacci Brewing Company, 1445 Compton Rd., Mt. Boyz II Men

Legendary R&B group known for hits like “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and “Motownphilly” are coming to the Hard Rock Casino. The band will be taking the stage at the casino’s Outdoor Concert Venue at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the general admission lawn area start at $64.50 and attendees must be at least 21. Findlay Market Juneteenth Tasting

In honor of Juneteenth, Findlay Market is hosting a tasting to highlight its various Black-owned businesses. Some samples on offer include jollof rice from Afromeals, strawberry cornbread cobbler from Eliza Jane’s Bakeshop, and red velvet banana pudding from Makers Bakers. Tickets are available at 8 for $20 or 18 for $40. One ticket gets you one sample. Sunday, June 23, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., Findlay Market, 1801 Race St., Over-the-Rhine

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

The Taft Museum of Art will be turned into Wonderland for a special immersive theatre experience for the whole family. The 90-minute program will see you help Alice navigate through the twists and turns of the strange land. You’ll get to have a tea party with the Mad Hatter, play croquet with the Queen of Hearts, and more. Tickets are $45 for Taft members, $55 for non-members, and $35 for kids ages five through twelve. Ultimate Race Expo

The Cincinnati walking and running communities are coming together at MadTree for the area’s first ever expo all about their favorite sport/pastime. Local races like the Warrior Run will publicize their events for potential participants while showcasing their beneficiary causes. There will also be yoga, giveaways, stretching, expert panelists, community bonding, and a fashion show. Sunday, June 23, 1-4 p.m., MadTree Taproom, 3301 Madison Rd., Oakley
