Celebrate National Pepperoni Pizza Day with Dewey’s Pizza! Their classic pep isn’t your average pie. Dewey’s is known for using fresh, high-quality ingredients and the pepperoni is no exception. Columbus-based Ezzo Sausage Company crafts top-quality Italian meats—including the pepperoni Dewey’s uses on their pizzas. The spicy burst of flavor complements the spices in the Dewey’s red sauce and the creamy, house-shredded mozzarella. Leave it up to Dewey’s to create a one-of-a-kind flavor profile with an exclusive sauce recipe with Stanislaus and mozzarella cheese recipe with Burnett Dairy. You won’t find this anywhere else. Whether you’re ordering an 11-inch pizza or going for the 17-inch, there’s dozens of pepperonis on a Dewey’s pizza—50 pepperoni slices on the 17-inch, to be exact. It’s fitting that it’s their best-selling pizza on the menu selling more than 250,000 pepperoni pizzas a year, which is around 685 a day between all locations.

Whatever pizza you choose, every Dewey’s Pizza starts with hand-mixed dough made at their local commissary and delivered daily to every location. The pillowy signature crust serves as a base for the Dewey’s red sauce, made with a custom blend of spices. When choosing your pizza order, the pepperoni pie is a go-to classic, but it’s not the only option with the tasty Italian meat. Choose the supreme-style Bronx Bomber topped with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, and black olives. Or opt for the all-Italian meat pie, the Don Corleone, with Genoa salami, capicola ham, and pepperoni. And if you can’t choose just one, Dewey’s offers the option to make any pizza half-and-half, with any sauce or toppings. Enjoy your pepperoni more than one way! If you’re dining in, choose a refreshing beverage to pair with pepperoni. An acidic wine option such as a cabernet sauvignon or a malty beer are great choices to cool the spice.

Pair your pizza with a Dewey’s salad

Start with a classic Caesar salad, a perfect complement to a pepperoni pie. Tossed with fresh romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and housemade croutons with Caesar dressing, it’s a crisp choice. The seasonal Harvest salad, with figs, applewood smoked bacon, pumpkin seeds, and Boursin cheese gives you a crunchy taste of fall. Or sample more Dewey’s housemade goodness with a Candied Walnut & Grape salad. The walnuts are candied in-house, and the dressing is made with fresh fruit juices.

Order your pepperoni pizza online

Now that you know all pepperoni is not created equal, celebrate National Pepperoni Pizza Day with Dewey’s! Choose from one of Dewey’s eight Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations and order online for pick up or visit the location in your neighborhood to experience a pepperoni pie for yourself. You can even schedule your pickup time—perfect for when you’re on the go!
