New Kid on the Block: The Booksellers on Fountain Square

280

Do you love books? And local small businesses? Then get thee to The Booksellers on Fountain Square. This spacious shop, opened by Joseph-Beth Booksellers founder and former owner Neil Van Uum, has all the trappings (and perks) of a large chain bookstore, but with a healthy dose of local personality. Pick up books by local authors, national bestsellers, and magazines (ahem), as well as calendars, journals, and gifty items like purses and Rookwood Pottery pieces. And like most bookstores nowadays, The Booksellers has a full café serving smoothies, soups, salads, quiches, and the requisite fancy coffee drinks.
