Party Like a Rock Star for Music Resource Center

Since 2009, Music Resource Center Cincinnati has been quietly building a reputation as the go-to spot for city teens to hone their musical talents. At MRC, kids have access to private voice and instrument lessons, musical mentoring and recording studios equipped with Macs and Garage Band software, all for a yearly membership fee of just $24.00. “We want to inspire kids through music in a diverse environment,” says MRC Cincinnati founder and executive director, Karen D’Agostino. In April, Radio MRC, 95.7 FM went live and broadcasts music created and performed entirely by MRC students. MRC’s annual fundraiser, Party Like a Rock Star, hits The Redmoor in Mt. Lookout Saturday, August 29 at and features live karaoke with —who else?—Sexy Time Live Karaoke. Party on, Wayne! mrccinci.org
