When the summer days get too hot to handle, retreating to the temperature controlled comfort of a movie theatre is kind of the best thing ever. Thanks to some awesome local sponsors, the Esquire, Kenwood, and Mariemont theatres are hosting free kids’ matinees through August 6, including Home Alone and The Fantastic Mister Fox. Doors open at 9:45 a.m., and the movies begin at 10:30 a.m. Seating is first come, first served.
