Hot Ticket: Clifton House Tour

130

Mother’s Day is for brunching, flower-exchanging, and spoiling your biggest fan: mom. Instead of settling in for the usual bacon-and-mimosa coma, why not take mom on a tour of some rarely seen Cincinnati landmarks?

Seven historically and architecturally significant homes (and one monument) will be featured during the triennial Clifton House Tour. Founded in the late 1960s, the tour is the primary fundraiser for Clifton Town Meeting, whose various programs and beautification efforts keep Clifton one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Cincinnati. Free transportation will shuttle visitors from two locations: Clifton Cultural Arts Center at 3711 Clifton Avenue and Clifton Plaza at 333 Ludlow Avenue. Or, you can walk off that French toast and enjoy the springtime air.

Sunday, May 10, 1-5 p.m. Tickets are $18.00 through May 9 or $22.00 the day of the tour, cliftoncommunity.org/clifton-house-tour/
