This place serves the unlikely combination of pizza and pulled pork. And surprisingly they do both well. The pulled pork is smoky and tender, as pulled pork should be. The pizza is crispy and zingy, as pizza should be. Most fans of Memphis-style barbecue will give the thumbs up to the sandwiches here. The pulled pork is smoked for hours on end at a low temperature, keeping the meat perfectly tender. You just put on your choice of sauce and a little coleslaw to personalize your sandwich. And what's up with the pizza? The location was originally a pizza and creamy whip joint. So the pizza is not a sideline here. It's given the same attention it would get in a good pizzeria. The crust is thin and crispy with a nice layer of sauce and not too much cheese.
