Park + Vine Chili Cook-Off

Whether you want to make a pot of chili or just sample what others have stirred up, Park + Vine’s chili cook-off will fit the bill. Fill up (and warm up) on the vegan contenders—and you should perhaps prepare yourself to get knocked off your high-carnivore-horse, because we hear that a whole lot of tasty has happened in years past. Judges include Colonel De of Findlay Market fame, Jean-Robert’s Table Chef de Cuisine Bhumin Desai, and food writer Grace Yek. Beer will be available to wash it down, with a portion of proceeds going to Gabriel’s Place, so basically ordering booze is a moral imperative here.

Tickets $10 to taste and $15 to compete. Sunday January 25, 3–5 pm, 1202 Main St., Over-the-Rhine
