Why: Now that Ohio law allows brewers to have tasting rooms on-site without paying for an extra permit, expect to see a tap room boom. Mt. Carmel joined the party on April 26, debuting their Third Shift Imperial Coffee Stout, featuring brew from Northside’s La Terza Artisan Coffee. The tap room’s open Monday through Saturday, 1 pm to 4 pm, and brewery tours are at 1 pm Saturday. Stop by and say hello—the beer is great and the brewers are passionate and knowledgeable.
