Gorman Heritage Farm is gearing up for the fourth annual Savor the Season: Farm to Fork Celebration, an event organized with Slow Food Cincinnati to encourage cooking with locally grown ingredients. The event will feature foods from top local chefs, including Todd Kelly of Orchids at Palm Court, Jose Salazar, Jackson Rouse, and James Dean Gadd of The Rookwood, with music by DJ Mowgli. A number of food trucks and vendors will also be on hand, including Dojo Gelato, Panino Food Truck, The Delish Dish, Whole Foods, and more. Savor the Season will also offer garden and farm workshops like Composting 101, Painting with Natural Dyes, Vegetable Garden Design, and Beekeeping on the farm’s 122-acre property.

Stick around for the all-new Savor the Spirits event (3-5 p.m.) and enjoy some great local beers and plenty of cocktails created by the resident mixologist, Lance Bowman of Japp’s, who will demonstrate pairings with Chef Julie Francis of Nectar. Local chefs will compete in the Chopped-style Raid the Garden food competition at 5 p.m.

Tickets for nonmember adults are $35 and nonmember children and seniors are $30. The adult member ticket is $30 and the children and senior member ticket is $35. Raid the Garden tickets are an additional $10. Ticket prices will go up $10 after April 27.
