Turophilia Quesadillas

248

Turophilia is back in town, at least for the time being. Parked just across the street from Jean-Robert’s Table is the small-but-mighty Airstream trailer that turns out monster flavor. Bob Marley quesadillas are a big seller, stuffed with chicken, spinach, cranberries, and goat cheese. I opted for the Plain Jane with turkey bacon, avocado, jack cheese, and spicy mayo. Next time, I’m trying the Lennon—black beans, chicken, pico de gallo, corn, cilantro, and jack cheese. The small size is generous at $6 or $7 depending on the filling; the large will leave you in a mid-afternoon food coma for a mere $8. Pro tip: call ahead. Everything is cooked to order, so waiting at the window can easily leave you hanging for 15-20 minutes.
