A handful of Bengals players spent their weekly off day on Fountain Square, helping out with the Lighthouse Youth Services Happy Holidays gift drive.
Vincent Rey—who’s worked with Lighthouse over the past couple years—was joined by Geno Atkins, Chris Pressley, Dan Skuta, and Armon Binns on Tuesday afternoon, collecting gifts and donations for Lighthouse while posing for pictures, signing autographs, and chatting with fans. Lighthouse works to help homeless and neglected youth through community based programs.
“I really like this organization and I’m just trying to help any way that I can,” said Rey, donning a pair of fuzzy reindeer antlers on top of his Bengals hat. “On Tuesdays we like to get involved in the community. We’re glad to be out here, and it’s not too cold.”
The teammates voiced their support for Rey and appeared to be having a pretty good time as well, including Atkins, who introduced himself as “A.J. Green” to a few of the curious and unsure fans that stopped by.
