Landfall at Wexner Center for the Arts

Laurie Anderson and the Kronos Quartet collaborate for the first time with Landfall, a piece that’s been 25 years in the making. Anderson first met the group at the Wexner Center’s dedication in 1989, during which Kronos’s founder David Harrington suggested they work together. Debuting as part of the Wexner’s 25th anniversary celebration, Landfall combines Anderson’s unique exhumation of language with the Quartet’s versatile talents. Anderson reportedly finished composing Landfall as Hurricane Sandy hit New York City.
