Biking, kayaking, a pub crawl to breweries around town—sounds like a busy, fun-filled weekend. In Traverse City, it’s just another day. Kayak, Bike & Brew is a four-hour pub crawl like no other. After biking around town and stopping at breweries like North Peak Brewing Company and Right Brain Brewery, you’ll load into a single or double kayak and paddle up Boardman River, which cuts right through the heart of the city. Paddlers will then make stops along the river at a couple more of Traverse City’s bountiful breweries. After visiting a total of five breweries and paddling into Grand Traverse Bay, you’ll dock your kayak for good. With a quick walk down to Pangea’s Pizza Pub, you can regain all those calories you just burned and start planning your next pub crawl. Tours start at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily; other breweries you may visit are Rare Bird Brewpub, The Workshop Brewing Company, Rare Bird Brewpub, and The Filling Station Microbrewery; and you can choose a single kayak for $69 or a double for $129. Prices don’t include beers, but you do get a $10 gift card to use on pizza after all your hard work, and some swag to forever remember your day of paddling, pedaling, and pints. kayakbikebrew.com
