Where else would you turn for good old sausage-making expertise than Avril-Bleh & Sons Meat Market? Once a month from December through June small groups gather in the Court Street store to grind, mix, stuff, and link to their heart’s content. The class takes three to four hours, depending on the number of participants, and includes lunch. At the end of the day, you’ll leave with 15 to 17 pounds of the stuff, and a few new friends. “It’s a neat deal,” says Len Bleh. “We tell folks to call us with questions, and we’ll sell them casings, too.” At a discount, to boot. So that’s how the sausage gets made. avril-blehmeats.com, (513) 241-2433
