Girl with a Pearl (Dress)

A few months ago, Bridal and Formal held a cocktail party for wedding gown designer Matthew Christopher. It was fabulous: yummy food, a fun crowd, and lots of gorgeous wedding gowns, including a standout strapless number with a pearl-encrusted bodice and pearl detail along the curved darts.

I stopped by Bridal and Formal recently, and as I was walking through the racks on racks on racks of dresses, a glowing sliver of creamy satin caught my eye—turns out it was the same dress!

Moral of the story: Matthew Christopher’s CHANEL gown is absolutely gorgeous (of course her name is CHANEL) and she’s just as dazzling the second time around. So much so, that I went on a bit of a browsing spree and found a few more dresses with pearl detail for your shopping pleasure.
