If your experience with the ballet begins and ends with The Nutcracker (and is leaving you…unfulfilled), then you should try modern dance.

Started in NYC in 1958 with a now-famous performance at the 92nd Street Y, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is a modern ballet institution. Called “change-your-life good” by NBC’s Today Show, every performance by these extraordinary dancers is an uplifting celebration of the human spirit. Back in Cincinnati for the first time since 2008, each of the two performances will feature the popular classic masterpiece, Revelations, created by Alvin Ailey himself.
