In what has become a much-anticipated retail event for many a bibliophilic Cincinnatian, The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County hosts a sale of used books from their stacks, including thousands of hardback and paperback books, as well as CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and vinyl records.
And our favorite library event of the whole year is Bag Day, which is held on Friday, June 7. Buy a library bag for $10 and fill it with as many books as will fit (or as many as you can carry…whichever comes first).
Proceeds support library programs.
