This blend of Malbec and Syrah has a medium body and a nice acidity with plum and chocolate flavors on the finish. While it’s good for drinking on its own, it’s a lovely wine with food. Charcuterie, anyone?

 

Mas Donis Barrica, Montsant, Spain $12.99

If you’ve developed a taste for wines from Spain’s Priorat region but your wallet’s still trying to keep up, this wine is your new BFF. Predominantly Grenache with some Syrah, hints of cherry and white pepper stand out in this balanced and not-overly-oaked blend. Perfect with pork loin.

 

Finca Os Cobatos, Monterrei, Spain $12.99

Made from 100 percent Godello grape, this is a good alternative to all that Chardonnay you quaff out on the deck. While the wine is un-oaked, it still has a rich mouth feel with lush notes of star fruit and anise. This is the sure-shot pairing for grilled cedar-plank salmon.
