We love a good deal, especially when it involves surprise cookies. And while Servatii Pastry Shop and Deli doesn’t have the market share enjoyed by its big brother Busken Bakery, the under-the-radar shop has some delightfully cheap lunch offerings. I enter into evidence the quiche: Packed up into an unassuming plastic clamshell takeaway box, it might go unnoticed (especially if you’re dazzled by the display of basketball-sized soft pretzels on the counter…). But you should take a second look. It’s a generous wedge of totally decent quiche (this one is broccoli), plus a wee cup of fruit cocktail and (surprise!) three little tea cookies. And it’s $4.50. The best part? It doesn’t involve French fries, so you won’t hate yourself in the morning.
