Spotted: Ruffed Grouse Society’s Spirits for Wild Game

120

Looking for your next culinary adventure? Want to get one of the first peeks at New Riff Distillery, next-door neighbor to the Party Source? Chef David Cook will be preparing multiple wild game tasting courses paired with bourbon, wine, and craft beers at New Riff on April 25. Tickets are $75 per person and include both the food and drinks. Proceeds from the dinner (and a silent auction) benefit the Gilbert R. Symons chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society, a national conservation organization dedicated to supporting sporting traditions by creating healthy forest habitat for ruffed grouse, American woodcock, and other wildlife. This local chapter has been especially active in working with landowners and government agencies (utilizing scientific management), to create new habitat at Indian Creek Wildlife Management Area, Tranquility Wildlife Management Area, and Shawnee State Forest. To purchase tickets, contact Jeff Rhinock at (513) 324-1334 or jrhinock@fuse.net.
