The Midwest Culinary Institute (MCI) at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College played host to a sold out crowd at the 2010 1 Night, 12 Kitchens. Produced by Cincinnati State and Cincinnati Magazine, this unique event raises tens of thousands of dollars each year for aspiring culinary students attending MCI.
In its 6th year, the event featured MCI faculty chefs working alongside local and regional culinary stars such as Orchids’ Todd Kelly, Boca’s Joe Garcia and Riverside Korean’s Bruce Kim, along with special guest chef Edward Lee, visiting from his Louisville restaurant 610 Magnolia.
Guests enjoyed wine tastings, a silent auction, tours of MCI’s specialty kitchens and butcheries and, of course, sampled fantastic food.
